Some context: Rockstar Games has revealed a while ago that native ports of GTA 5 for the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 will launch on the 11th of November, and at that point GTA Online will also split off into a standalone game. This new port will bring more to the table than just graphical improvements and has been dubbed the Expanded and Enhanced edition. Nestled in a recent leak of alleged features with which E&E sets itself apart from previous versions of the game was one single tidbit regard GTA 6 instead, and what role Online might play as a standalone title intended to outlive GTA 5 proper....

With so much money involved in the film, you can’t exactly blame the Black Widow star, Scarlett Johansson. In the end, all she wanted was her fair piece of the pie. Disney reportedly pushed through with Black Widow’s hybrid release against Johansson’s wishes, which Johansson’s team claims affected her earnings. Now, reports are saying that Johansson’s team tried to negotiate with Disney so that Johansson would receive $100 million for Black Widow after its release plans changed....

To date, Skull and Bones remain in development. Unfortunately, it’s been revealed that the game will have to move forward without one of its key personnel. Is Skull and Bones ever going to be released? Back in May 2021, Ubisoft broke the unfortunate but expected news about Skull and Bones being delayed to 2022. A few months later, Ubisoft confirmed that the game had finally reached the alpha stage after all these years....

With the launch trailer for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Sony is showcasing all the improvements that PS5 owners can expect from the remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. In addition to the gameplay footage, the trailer also blends in a handful of in-game cinematics with improved graphics. Unfortunately, the launch trailer is chock full of spoilers. So far, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight remains the golden standard for live-action Batman films. With a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the 2008 film, which won Heath Ledger a posthumous Academy Award for his role as Joker, isn’t just the best Batman film, it’s also one of the best comic book films of all time. The EA Codemasters acquisition was first approved by shareholders earlier in February. Codemasters was initially in talks with Take-Two for a possible purchase. However, Take-Two bowed out of the bidding wars after EA outbid them for the hefty sum of approximately US$1.2 billion. What Does the EA Codemasters Acquisition Mean? Bringing Codemasters into the fold suggests that EA is planning on investing big money in racing franchises in the next couple of years....
