Earlier this week, Ubisoft confirmed the title of the next Assassin’s Creed game. While the official details are few, there was a significant information leak to gives us an idea about the upcoming game. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is the next entry into the turn-based strategy adventure game for the Nintendo Switch. During the event, we will hopefully get more information about the game which is scheduled for release on October 20. Fans will also be eager to hear more updates about Skull and Bones. The much-delayed open-world action-adventure game is based on naval warfare and piracy. Skull and Bones has been delayed several times and fans will be excited to see a finished game during the showcase. We will hopefully also get a concrete release date for Skull and Bones. The Division Heartland and Resurgence will also be featured in Ubisoft Forward. We already reported leaked information on Heartland when it was prematurely listed in the Ubisoft Store. Finally, Heartland and Resurgence will differ from the AAA games released by Ubisoft for the Tom Clancy title, as they are a free-to-play battle royale and mobile game, respectively.
The Future of Assassin’s Creed
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the main event of the Ubisoft Forward showcase on the 10th. Long-time fans of the franchise can expect more details about the game that’s coming in 2023 and feature a younger Basim as the protagonist. It’s believed that Mirage is set in 9th century Baghdad and explores how Basim became part of the Hidden Ones. If we believe all the rumors, Mirage will bring the series back to its stealth action-adventure roots and will not be using RPG elements such as leveling and dialogue choices. The Ubisoft Forward event will stream live on September 10 at 12 PM Pacific Time. The showcase event is estimated to run for one hour and can be viewed on Youtube, Twitch, and the Ubisoft Forward site. Fans who will be watching the event on Twitch will be eligible for several Twitch drops during the event depending on how long they stay tuned. The official game rewards are as follows:
Watch for 15 minutes to earn the Skull Logo Emblem in Skull and Bones Watch for 30 minutes to earn the Explosive Detail Charm in Rainbow Six Siege Watch for 45 minutes to earn the RC22 Original Cosmetic in Roller Champions Watch for 60 minutes to earn the Sphinx Tattoo Set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
