With that said, a move to the PC platform might just be what it needs to get the audience it deserves, and if what eagle-eyed observers are to go by, a PC port of Sackboy: A Big Adventure is headed to Steam.

Is Sony going to port Sackboy: A Big Adventure to the PC?

The PC ports don’t stop coming for Playstation.https://t.co/7cHXY0biXK pic.twitter.com/AJppez3ZCc — Okami Games (@Okami13_) October 26, 2021 According to a listing discovered by SteamDC, a game codenamed “Steel PC” was added to the Steam database on October 27. The same listing notes that they believe that it could be Sackboy: A Big Adventure, but didn’t provide a reason why. Thus, we recommend that you take this rumor with the usual grain of salt. With that said, we wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being true. Sony confirmed earlier this year that it is committed to porting more of its first-party games to the PC. Since then, Sony has announced PC ports for games like Days Gone, God of War, and Uncharted. So, what harm could it do if Sony threw Sackboy into the mix as well? It’s unknown what kind of criteria Sony has when choosing the first-party games that they’ll port over to the PC. There appears to be no obvious pattern to their decisions, and it’s not like Sony has ported over unsuccessful games either, as all the first-party PlayStation games that have been released on the PC in recent years topped the sales charts for the PS4. What is perhaps the most interesting thing here is that Sackboy’s PC port was part of the GeForce Now leak. With God of War coming true and the similarly listed Final Fantasy Tactics remaster also rumored to be in development, we can only imagine just how many more supposedly speculative PlayStation-exclusive titles on the list are coming to the PC.
