The good news is that Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, finally talked about GTA 6. Unfortunately, the company didn’t have much to say. Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, was recently asked about a potential update on GTA VI at an Excelsior podcast and he gave a rather plain answer, saying, “Sure, I mean, Rockstar said that there is another version coming. So, stay tuned.” As much as we’d all have loved for Zelnick to share more about GTA 6, we do not think that he is in a good position to do so. According to a recent financial call that went rounds after the said podcast, the company has at least 69 games in the pipeline until FY2025. To the dismay of many, GTA 6 wasn’t included in the list of upcoming games, suggesting that it will be a while before we see the highly anticipated game. Naturally, fans are concerned. After all, it’s already been almost a decade since GTA 5 came out. At this point, GTA V has been released on three different generations of consoles and it might head on over to a fourth one if Rockstar doesn’t hurry up. In the meantime, industry insiders have stepped forward to fill in the void left by the tight-lipped people working on GTA 6. The last we heard, GTA 6 could be 500 hours long with Rockstar reportedly speeding up the game’s development ahead of a possible reveal later this year. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to say which of these intel are legitimate or not. Not to mention, without E3 2022, we don’t know which dates to circle on our calendars
